Beginners Yoga: 

Do you want to learn yoga? OTC are offering beginners yoga sessions which are not only a wonderful way to take care of yourself physically but also to learn to understand how to unite the mind, body and spirit. Aside from the physical benefits which include improved flexibility, muscle strengthening and weight reduction, one of the best benefits of yoga is how it helps a person manage stress, which is known to have devastating effects on the body and mind. Stress can reveal itself in many ways, including back or neck pain, sleeping problems, headaches, drug/alcohol overuse and Yoga can be very effective in developing coping skills and reaching a more positive outlook on life.
Class times: 
Tuesday 9.15-10.15am: Wed 10.30-11.30am (Gentle) Wed 7-8pm,: Thursday 6-7pm: Thurs 7.15-8.15pm (Mens Only) Saturday 1-2pm 

£5 per session (block booking x4 required)

Meditation Class:
Meditation is becoming more and more popular as people are beginning to discover its benefits. Meditation offers people a way to relax, reduce stress and clear their minds. Meditation is proven to increase overall happiness as you begin to connect to your body and become more mindful about your thinking patterns. Meditation can lessen the impact of depression and ease anxiety as we focus our attention on the here and now and gain a deeper understanding of ourselves. Other benefits include, improved sleep, lower blood pressure, improve brain function, reduce and manage pain, lose and maintain weight and improved immune function. Meditation is a popular approach to improving physical and mental wellbeing.

Mindfulness Workshop (9 week course)

OTC are offering a 9-week Mindfulness workshop that will help you to combat excessive thinking that can lead to negativity and stress. This workshop will teach you the skills you need to feel calmer, happier, clearer, more connected and grateful. Mindfulness is proven to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and worry as well as many more emotional and physical benefits. Learn to take control of your wellbeing and happiness through the wisdom and practice of Mindfulness.

Six Weeks of Self-Love 
Try our six week programme exploring how we can learn to love and be kind to ourselves, letting go of the notion that we should always put others first. Self-love is key to a happy and positive life.

Friday 1.00pm-2.30pm

Mindfulness for Teenagers/Tweenages (8 week Course)
Weekly sessions tailored towards tweens and teenagers, exploring how the practice of mindfulness can improve confidence, reduce anxiety and develop emotional resilience.

Friday 4-4.45pm (Tweens 8-12years) 5-6pm (Teens)

Inspire Friday's
Free creative sessions throughout January and February. Sending time outdoors finding inspiration, before getting stuck in to a range of creative activities.

Fibromyalgia Support Group
This session is led by those with the condition and is an opportunity to share ideas, tips and techniques that help to cope with fibromyalgia and other long term pain conditions. All welcome.
Class Times:
Thursday 12-1pm
£3 (includes cuppa and biscuits)

Boxing and Circuits  Fitness Class
Boxing and circuit fitness class, no contact, pad work. Friendly and supportive environment, suitable for all abilities. 
Monday 7.15-8.15pm
£5 per session

Crochet Club
Learn to crochet as a beginner or develop existing skills. This friendly group gets together on a Tuesday evening 6-8pm and Wednesday 10am - 12pm.
£5 per session
